Finding Your “Happy Money” Amount: A New Mindset To Make Money to Spend Meaningfully = Deeper Satisfaction
Vicky Vogel-Iturri
Wealth Management Advisor
Merrill Lynch Wealth Management
During Covid, some of Vicky’s clients discovered they could live on less (and therefore not have to work such long hours) and still lead satisfying lives because they had more time to enjoy pleasant experiences with loved ones. This validated the research Vicky had read that, if spent on meaningful experiences, money can indeed buy happiness. But how many of us are mindful about how much we are spending – and on what – vs. how much we truly need to earn to feel secure but also deeply satisfied about our life experience? And how do we know how much we need to save and invest to be secure, without overdoing it and losing precious hours overworking ourselves? Vicky will address these complex questions using case studies from serving her clients over 20 years so you walk away with a plan to discover your own “Happy Money” amount and start analyzing your spending habits to further enrich your life experience.
