Are you currently worried about an aging parent or loved one? Are you worried about what will happen when you get older? Many people plan for retirement but not many think about what happens when we need care. Successful planning and understanding the available options can help make the later years of life a journey to be enjoyed. It’s not to say that difficult decisions won’t have to be made but discussing and understand what you want early can help avoid a crisis. Often it falls on adult children and other family members to step in, make decisions and provide
needed care for an aging loved one. We will discuss best ways to avoid a crisis and how to navigate the possible options to help ourselves and the ones we love age with grace and dignity.

More about Abby:
Abby Mahon is a Certified Care Manager with A Plus Aging Advantage. Earning her degree in Gerontology, she has always had a passion for working with seniors. Spending the early part of her career in various leadership positions in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living she became aware of the challenges seniors and their families face as they age. This led her to pursue earning her certification as a care manager to better help serve the population she loves. Abby has spent the last 5 years as a Certified Care Manager working with seniors and disabled clients, assisting them and their families in ensuring they have the support needed and understand their options to ensure the best possible outcomes.
