More about Natalie:
Natalie Johnson began her career with Anheuser Busch in the summer of 1997 as a Corporate Quality Assurance intern and is now the first black female Brewing Director of the North American Zone of Anheuser Busch. After completing her B.S. in Chemistry from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee in 2001 she accepted the role of an experimental brewer in the Anheuser-Busch Research Pilot Brewery. In 2002 she was promoted to Brewing Group Manager at the Newark Brewery. There, she held several positions of increasing responsibility in both brewing and quality areas, ultimately becoming the first black female Senior Brewmaster. Following Newark, Natalie severed as the Brewmaster of the Columbus, Ohio brewery and in May of 2019, she returned to her hometown of St. Louis, as the Senior Brewmaster of the flagship Brewery. In August of 2020, the UNCF Budweiser Natalie Johnson Scholarship and Internship program was established in her name and partnership with the United Negro College Fund. Natalie is elated to be a part of providing this opportunity for black students with the hope to improve diversity in the brewing industry.
