Checkmate the Kings – Winning Big in a So-called Man’s World

Hungarian-American Chess Grandmaster Susan Polgar has won countless honors including 4 Women’s World Championships, and is the first player to win the triple-crown (Blitz, Rapid, and Classical World Championships). She became the #1 ranked female at 15, and later became the first woman to earn the Grandmaster title through traditional FIDE requirement. She is also a five-time Women’s Olympiad Champion.

She heads the Susan Polgar Institute for Chess Excellence (SPICE) at Webster University, and her teams have won 7 consecutive national championships.  Her non-profit organization promotes the educational benefits of chess to youngsters, especially girls.

Susan is the author of  “A World Champion’s Guide to Chess” and “Chess Tactics for Champions”, “Learn Chess the Right Way”and recently  coauthored “Rich as a King”, a book applying chess strategies to investments.
