Jane Callahan, Executive Director for WFSTL

In March 2016,  Jane Callahan “passed the rolling pin” of her legendary Maplewood bakeshop  – Pie Oh My! – and entered a quiet retirement.

But not for long! She was promptly recruited as Executive Director for The Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis.  WFSTL examines issues like educational and economic inequities that negatively impact opportunities for all of us.  The group also funds community projects to meet the needs of under-resourced women and girls.

“I’ve been grateful for women who’ve mentored me and lifted me up, and I’ve tried to do the same for others. To do it professionally for an organization wholly committed to that cause is a dream come true,” Jane says.
