Lynda Lieberman, MBA, CPA

Lynda will be motivating us to follow a semi-structured business planning and management process — “Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Monitoring” – PBM.  It is considered “semi-structured” in order to encourage creative thinking and teamwork between management and rank-and-file employees.  As a financial person, Lynda understands that “what gets measured, gets done.”  However, the keys to value creation lie in knowing not only what to measure and how, but “WHY,” and in making company-wide participation in the PBM process part of a company’s daily culture.  Lynda will be sharing with you several of her favorite management philosophies and tools, editing the traditional planning, budgeting, and monitoring process.

More about Lynda:

Lynda has over 30 years of professional experience.  For 26 years, she specialized in valuing privately-owned businesses and consulting with business owners/managers on planning strategies.  Her passion lies in working with owners and managers to help them improve the value and quality of their businesses, often the largest asset in an owner’s personal portfolio.

Lynda received both her BSBA and MBA from the University of Missouri in St. Louis, specializing in accounting and finance.  In 2008, she participated in the “Olin Executive Knowledge Achievement Program” at Washington University.  Professional accomplishments include having served as president of the Missouri State Board of Accountancy from 2004 to 2006 and having received the University of Missouri in St. Louis “2007 Trailblazer’s Award.”

Personally, Lynda enjoys spending time with friends, exercising at the gym, reading historical fiction, and traveling.  Her newest interests include birding and learning Spanish.
